To prepare Dali Bora, a combination of lentils is typically used, such as split red lentils (masoor dal) or split yellow lentils (moong dal). Soak your lentils for a minimum of 4 hours, drain, and then ground into a coarse paste using a food processor

With your grounded lentils add the following spices and herbs:

* Two large onion, finely sliced
* One tsp turmeric
* One tsp chilli powder
* One teaspoon ginger and garlic paste
* 1/2 bunch of coriander – finely chopped
* One/two fresh green chillies chopped (optional)
* 3 tbsp of Gram flour

Ingredients

  • 200 g 200 Red lentils – Soaked in water for atleast 2 hours

  • 2 whole 2 Large onion – Finely sliced

  • 1 tsp 1 Tumeric Powder

  • 1 tsp 1 Chilli powder

  • 1 tsp 1 Ginger paste

  • 1 tsp 1 Garlic paste

  • 1/2 bunch 1/2 coriander – finely chopped

  • 2 2 green chillies – chopped

  • 3 tbsp 3 Gram Flour

  • 2 tsp 2 Salt

  • 200 ml 200 Vegetable oil

Directions

  • Thoroughly drain the lentils and grind them in a food processor untl you have a coarse paste.
  • Transfer the ground lentils to a bowl and add the other ingredients. Mix everything thoroughly.
